The Basler Stadtlauf inspires thousands of running enthusiasts from Basel and the entire region year after year. The most recent edition was once again a great success, creating an impressive atmosphere along the course through Basel’s city centre.
Demand was so high that all starting places were already fully booked by October of the previous year. This tremendous interest shows the importance the Basler Stadtlauf has gained – and how popular this shared running experience in the pre-Christmas atmosphere has become.
For the 43rd edition in 2026, the registration window is expected to open after the summer holidays. Based on last year’s experience, we recommend registering early once entries go live.
We are already looking forward to another atmospheric and sporting Stadtlauf in Basel.
