With over 11'900 registrations, the maximum number of participants has been reached – further proof of the enduring popularity of this traditional running event in the heart of Basel.
As early as 10 August, we as organisers highlighted the exceptionally high level of interest in this year's Basler Stadtlauf and recommended registering early.
Last year already showed where the trend was heading: registration for the family run had to close one month before the event, while the remaining categories closed at the end of October. This strong demand was a clear indication that the maximum capacity would be reached even earlier this year – a prediction that has now been confirmed.
We would like to thank all runners for their tremendous interest and look forward to an unforgettable running experience in the vibrant atmosphere of Basel's city centre.
At the same time, we are pleased to announce the date of the 44th Basler Stadtlauf: Saturday, 20 November 2027.
