The 2025 Basler Stadtlauf has once again shown us what Basel carries at its core: community, movement – and the ability to fill even the coldest night with warmth.
More than 10,000 of you crossed the finish line – a record that makes us proud and powerfully underlines the significance of this event. The frosty –5 °C, construction zones and a tight schedule could not stop you. You made Basel shine.
That is why today we say thank you from the bottom of our hearts:

On a sporting note, the evening offered thrilling moments – from impressive performances by the winners of the day to a strong showing by the junior elite. And organisationally, new solutions such as the direct ranking display in the finish area proved effective.
